At Diving with Joe we are some of the only instructors in Southern California that can instruct the NAUI Public Safety Diver Certification. This class is ideal for first responders with some experience in diving who have just been assigned or want to get assigned to their departments dive team. It can also be taught to divers who are interested in learning about what public safety diving is about or criminal justice students who want to learn something in their field beyond academics. 

The Public Safety Diver Certification will teach divers a broad range of public safety diving topics such as specific hazards, evidence recovery/documentation and more. This class is designed to basically train divers to function within a public safety dive team and how to complete core functions safely.
